SIX08 Dental & Dental Hygiene is a premier dental clinic located in Lethbridge, AB, dedicated to providing exceptional oral health care for patients of all ages. Our practice began in 2017 as Six08 Dental Hygiene, focusing on professional dental hygiene services and preventative care.
In 2021, we expanded to offer comprehensive dental services with the addition of Dr. Bruce Burgess, bringing advanced restorative, cosmetic, and orthodontic care to our patients. Continuing our commitment to excellence, we welcomed Dr. Garrett Kawa to the team in 2025, further enhancing our expertise and ability to meet the diverse needs of our community.

Dr. Bruce Burgess
Dr. Bruce Burgess graduated from the University of British Columbia and brings over 35 years of experience, knowledge, and dedication to patient care. Throughout his career, he has remained passionate about all aspects of dentistry, continually expanding his skills and staying current with advancements in dental care. He has developed a particular interest in airway and breathing-focused dentistry, working closely with patients to improve not only their oral health but also their overall well-being through proper airway function. In 2021, Dr. Burgess became a partner at Six08 Dental and was instrumental in expanding the clinic from a hygiene-focused practice to a full-service dental office. Since then, he has played a key role in the practice’s continued growth and in advancing its mission to provide comprehensive, accessible care to the community. Outside the clinic, Dr. Burgess leads an active and creative life. He enjoys biking, woodworking, and scuba diving whenever he gets the chance. A proud father of five and devoted husband, he values family and brings that same sense of care and connection to his work with patients and colleagues alike.
Dr. Garrett Kawa
Originally from Lethbridge, Dr. Kawa began his academic and athletic journey in Calgary, where he played basketball at St. Mary’s University, while completing his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry. He later went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Saskatchewan. Dr. Kawa is passionate about providing quality, patient-focused dental care in a welcoming and comfortable environment. He takes pride in building strong relationships with his patients and helping them achieve healthy, confident smiles. Outside the clinic, Dr. Kawa enjoys golfing during the summer months and hitting the slopes for some downhill skiing in the winter. A lifelong sports enthusiast, he loves both playing and watching sports, and values spending quality time with friends and family whenever he can.
