Dr. Bruce Burgess graduated from the University of British Columbia and brings over 35 years of experience, knowledge, and dedication to patient care. Throughout his career, he has remained passionate about all aspects of dentistry, continually expanding his skills and staying current with advancements in dental care. He has developed a particular interest in airway and breathing-focused dentistry, working closely with patients to improve not only their oral health but also their overall well-being through proper airway function. In 2021, Dr. Burgess became a partner at Six08 Dental and was instrumental in expanding the clinic from a hygiene-focused practice to a full-service dental office. Since then, he has played a key role in the practice’s continued growth and in advancing its mission to provide comprehensive, accessible care to the community. Outside the clinic, Dr. Burgess leads an active and creative life. He enjoys biking, woodworking, and scuba diving whenever he gets the chance. A proud father of five and devoted husband, he values family and brings that same sense of care and connection to his work with patients and colleagues alike.

Originally from Lethbridge, Dr. Kawa began his academic and athletic journey in Calgary, where he played basketball at St. Mary’s University, while completing his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry. He later went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Saskatchewan. Dr. Kawa is passionate about providing quality, patient-focused dental care in a welcoming and comfortable environment. He takes pride in building strong relationships with his patients and helping them achieve healthy, confident smiles. Outside the clinic, Dr. Kawa enjoys golfing during the summer months and hitting the slopes for some downhill skiing in the winter. A lifelong sports enthusiast, he loves both playing and watching sports, and values spending quality time with friends and family whenever he can.

Jamie was born and raised in Lethbridge and studied dental hygiene in Ottawa before returning home. She has been practicing for 15 years and is now a proud partner at Six08 Dental. Passionate about her profession, Jamie truly loves what she does. She enjoys talking with patients and building meaningful connections, making each visit a positive and personalized experience. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling, creating memories with her husband and children, and embracing new experiences. A proud mom of three, Jamie spends much of her time at the hockey rink, happily cheering on and supporting her kids.

With over 20 years of experience as a dental hygienist, Michelle is passionate about providing the highest level of care to each and every one of her patients. She takes pride in building strong relationships and helping others feel comfortable and confident in their oral health—something she finds truly rewarding. As a partner at Six08 Dental, Michelle is committed to excellence not just in patient care, but in creating a welcoming, team-oriented environment. Outside of work, Michelle is a proud mom who loves cheering on her kids, staying active, and spending quality time with her husband, family, and friends. Whether it’s a good workout, a fun trip, or simply making new memories together, she’s always up for the adventure.

Sharon, our dedicated dental hygienist, has been in the dental field since 2004. Born and raised in Lethbridge, AB, she brings both experience and a strong sense of community to our team. Sharon’s warm, gentle approach helps put patients at ease, making your dental visits feel more like catching up with an old friend. Outside the clinic, she’s a proud mom to three kids and three fur babies, and enjoys crafting, hiking, getting lost in a good book, and baking for friends & family.

Jacey has been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2013 and brings a strong passion for patient care to her role. Outside of dental hygiene, her greatest joy is spending time with family—whether it’s enjoying the outdoors through walks, biking, camping, and hiking, or staying in for game nights and movies. Since joining Six08 Dental, Jacey has embraced new opportunities for professional growth through the clinic’s wide range of services and commitment to making dental hygiene more accessible to the community.

Sachie has been working in the dental hygiene field for over 2 decades and remains just as passionate about providing exceptional patient care and comfort. She loves what she does, especially when she can win over that young or nervous patient. When not tending to teeth, Sachie loves to grow and sell flowers, as well as hike and bike the beautiful trails in our National Parks with her family of seven.

Kaleigh brings 16 years of dental experience to the team, including 11 years as a Registered Dental Hygienist and prior work as a Registered Dental Assistant. She loves being part of the fun, supportive team at Six08, where she gets to work alongside kind and caring professionals. For Kaleigh, the best part of her job is the amazing patients she cares for - she proudly calls them a true 10/10! Outside the office, she lives by the motto “work hard, play hard,” always saving up for her next travel adventure.

Kristin has been a Dental Hygienist for over 16 years, committed to providing exceptional care and creating positive experiences for her patients. She appreciates the calm of her Saturday appointments and the connections she builds in the office. Outside of work, Kristin enjoys traveling with her husband and keeping up with their two energetic young boys. For her, family time is the best time - always accompanied by a warm smile.

Jade joined Six08 Dental in 2023 and has become a wealth of knowledge at the front desk, helping patients navigate their dental visits with ease and professionalism. She helps ensure every patient has a smooth and positive experience from check-in to check-out. When she's not at the clinic, Jade is a devoted sports mom to her two boys and loves spending her time cooking, working out, and catching live music whenever she can.

Jayde became part of the Six08 Dental team in 2024 and quickly became a friendly and familiar face at the front desk. Born and raised in Lethbridge, she brings a warm touch to the clinic and makes patients feel comfortable and cared for. Outside of work, Jayde enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and dogs, and loves hitting the road for travel and spontaneous road trips.

Sharla graduated from Dental Assisting in Calgary in 2009 and made the move to Lethbridge in 2015, where she has called home ever since. With years of experience, and a wide range of skills, she has recently furthered her education with a focus on orthodontics. Sharla is dedicated to ensuring her patients are well-informed and have a positive, comfortable experience at every visit. Outside of work, she’s a busy mom of two who enjoys exploring creative outlets, cooking, gardening, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.

Zoie recently graduated from SAIT and is excited to begin her journey in the dental field with the team at Six08 Dental. She is dedicated to creating a positive experience for every patient and enjoys being part of the team that supports healthy smiles. Outside the office, you can usually find her out on a run, exploring hiking trails, or working on new art projects.

Devon was born and raised in Lethbridge. She graduated from Dental Assisting in 2024 after an extensive career in the EMS field. Devon brings a compassionate, detail-oriented approach to patient care. Outside of work, she is a dedicated mom to one and enjoys staying active through the gym and yoga. She’s always up for adventure — whether it’s hitting the trails on a quad or heading to a live music festival.
